I recapitulated the whole thing in 754397, title "8 bug?" in the VFP8 section - as the other thread was a monolog of my own latest findings and narrowing down.

I had hoped someone would have a clue (why the error goes when Watching the array), but it seems I´ll need to go the full way and try to repro it in a simplified example.
