Since MSMapi32.ocx ships with VFP, are there any circumstance (practically speaking) under which it is not possible to send MAPI compliant messages from a VFP 7 desktop app?

If you do not have a MAPI compliant e-mail clientinstalled on the client machine, you cannot send e-mail using MAPI. This means if the client machine is using Lotus cc:mail, you cannot use MAPI to send e-mail.
