Something I have done in the past is to load the form when the app starts and hide it until it is needed. Then when a user selects to open that form, the code always checks to see if it is already open and since it is, it is shown instantaneously. When the user closes the form, it is hidden instead. Of course when exiting the app (by any means) you have to step through the forms and release them all.
