This behavior is not correct, unless you do indeed have some code somewhere. If you make a new form, from base VFP form class, and drop some textboxes on it, does it behave this way? If you were to insert your code there (without a NODEFAULT), entry fields will be skipped.
Your form may be corrupt, or there may be code you are unaware of.
