I asked some questions to Ken Levy about various aspects of VFP. I expected some answers. What did I get. A simple answer that resumes to this: Get MSDN, this way you'll be sure to have the right tool.

How as customer can you justified such omissions like lack of evaluation version. Did you relly think that in such way you can help to improve the product ? If Fox team realy have such limited resources as you suggest... so maybe it is true that I am stupid staying wit VFP.
