>All the break you like. I was involved in that site from the very beginning (which was about first week of April 1999). It's run by people I knew for years (virtual people - never met any, I know them as much as I know half UT here). Besides, the site was receiving aid from the West almost all the time. Initially, it was hosted in Netherlands; the archives, as you can see, are in Denmark. They trusted it then. You don't have to trust it now.

You don't think that site is just a little biased, huh? I love this line:

"We think the Army is mostly defending the borders, and air space - and fighting the KLA. It's possible that the paramilitary units (on either side) is not that careful when choosing its targets."

Of course, your beloved United Nations saw things just a bit differently:

If for some reason you can't get to the link, I'll just give you one of the highlights:

The UN-supervised Supreme Court said there had been a "systematic campaign of terror, including murders, rapes, arsons and severe maltreatments".

What was that about not choosing their targets carefully?

>He regained popularity as a leader of an attacked country. Without it, he was about to reach next elections with about 13% (that his block has now, but split into factions). He was on a permanent dowhill course since 1996. And guess what - by end of 1995 the peace was achieved in Bosnia.

Right. We just should have let you guys take care of things. Somehow, the women raped in Kosovo may have a different opinion.

>Saddam's wet dreams are of no concern to me. What I'd like to see is neutralized Saddam, with hands tied enough to be capable of doing no harm to neighbors or his own citizens, but not at the price of another massacre.

Saddam will be taken care of shortly. UN or no UN.

>Bomb them with food, medical aid, facts about their regime, break their propaganda, not their necks. Just throw 10% of the money a week of warfare would cost onto their streets. Do anything to disrupt the regular order of affairs in the country, to make their people laugh and get to like their perceived enemy. And wait and see how long would the dictator have popular support. Anything, just not war.

It's not going to work. Saddam is a brutal dictator with a ruthless grip on power. There is one and only one way he is going to leave. On his back.
