I whole-heartedly agree with you, both sides are at fault (I thought the US had very little involvement in the bombing of Dresden, the majority killed were all civilians & we have called the organiser a hero & raised a statue as a memorial to him)

The US do seem to have been the major contributor to allied deaths of the last few wars/conflicts though (maybe our papers don't report "friendly-fire" incidents where it is British troops doing the firing on US troops, a distinct possibility).
