>This is actually typical of war in the country where the war is taking place. It is one of the ways to cutoff supplies to the military and tear-down their infrasture. Sad to say, it is also the most damaging (other than actual civilian deaths) to the host country. As to deaths of civilians in convoys or on bridges, it happens far too often that incorrect intelligence information determines that a convoy is military instead of civlilian and targets it. Also, bridges have long been a military target to cutoff supply routes in host countries.

>You have to keep in mind also that some leaders in certain countries deliberately move their military to locations that were strictly civilian in nature previously in order to attempt to prevent their military from being targets. This, in my opinion, is the worst possible maneuver and places the blame on the host country for making the civilians targets in the first place.
In your country, are all of your military bases well out of the way of civilian centres. I know in this country, several of your airforce bases are very close to civilian towns. Was that intentional, in order to reduce the likelihood of your airforce personnel being attacked ?
