Joe, sounds like the problem ocurs when the application needs to access the VB run-time files. Check to see what the permissions are on the Windows\System32 directory. Of course, it would seem the user would have problems in multiple applications if they did not have rights to the system dir. Also might be a registry permissions problem if visual basic entries are not available.
