I have an inquiry from a manufacturing company. They required a Point-of-Sale system for their retail outlets. The data entered is then sent daily to the main company where it is amalgamated into a system for such purpose.

How is one to charge for
a) The main company application for amalgamation of data
b) The retail outlet application (on a per copy basis?)
c) How would you charge for services at the retail outlets, which will be far and wide.

I am from India but your local calculation I guess may be helpful in finding averages. To weight I guess could you provide the rate of
a) a Loaf of Bread (India it cost Rs.10)
b) Bus/Train Travel fare for around 1000Kms journey (Rs.500)
