1. Downloaded from the MSDN
2. Unzipped the file to a temp directory
3. ran vfpstart.hta
4. clicked on Install VFP 8
5. NAV - Allow the entire script once
5. ran the pre-requisites - Soap Toolkit failed, but it's already loaded
6. proceeded with VFP install
7. VFP install key already filled in
8. used default install location, 1.8 G free
9. setup says: installing files (chokes at end of progress bar vs_setup.dll?)
10. Dialog: The system cannot open the device or file specified. Retries do no good.

That's it...

Any clues?
