In the middle frame is the data entry and in the top frame i have placed 7 buttons. I was displaying different pages in the middle frame but now i want to use layers to display each form from the pages. I think this will be easier to valid the data and submit the form. Anyway all i need to know is how to display a certain layer (and hide all the others) when a button is clicked in the top frame. I don't want to worry about CSS at the moment as this is simply a data entry site.

If you like all tree page at one form you can use JScript PageFrame. It hase only one inconvinience if you load a lot of data page load slowly. People with low speed connection wait more than 30sec.
