Is the local USB printer a GDI printer by any chance? Are you sending printer codes (like condensed or bold) to the printer using ?? or ??? because if so, GDI printers will not accept this as they do not have a cpu onboard. Are you using ? or @...say to print?

>Win2000 - I am trying to print an ascii text file (not a fox report) on a local USB printer. The printer works fine with MS Word, Notepad, etc. When I print in Fox, the file appears in the printer queue and then disappears as though it did print. The same file prints fine on another printer connected to a parallel port. Any ideas?
