Cetin,
I have never heard of the last 2 alternatives that you mentioned.
Are there any advantages to their use and where can I find them?
TIA.
>>When we add up the real-world widths that are required for each field in one our grids, we are out of horizontal space.
>>I really don't like horizontal scroll bars on grids.
>>Also, I (and the users) would prefer not to scroll thru individual fields.
>>I see that I can increase the height of all rows in the grid. However, I don't see a word wrap property for rows that would allow long descriptions, etc to spill over onto a 2nd line in the same row.
>>All suggestions are appreciated.
>>TIA.

>Allan,
>As Michel said editbox is a solution. Besides that you might try to use grid with view = 1 (Browse Change). With split and left pane in 'Browse Browse' it might be what you want (I myself don't like Browse Change).
>Having a container in grid and arranging as you want is another solution (virtually you could mimic a form content in a cell).
>Another alternative would be using MS Hierarchicalflexgrid or MS Datagrid control.
