Hi LYnda,
There are 2 problems with the 2200 that I know of...
1. It uses the later PCL6 printer language.
2. It is a 1200x1200 dpi printer which means it has to process 4 time the information of LJ4. This means more time and much larger file sizes.
...I have found using the LJ4 driver for the printer helps.

>I have an application that allows reports to be printed to file so that they can be concatenated before being sent to the printer. Recently the client reported that certain reports started to "hang" while printing to file while others took up to 200 times longer to print to printer or to file. I think I've localized the problem to a new HP2200 printer I have in my office. When that printer is selected as the default on a dev machine, the reports also take a very long time to print to file (if at all!) and will be more than double the size on disk than when another printer, the HP4 for example, is selected. This is the weird part though: cleaning out the Tag, Tag2 and printer references from the Expr fields is not sufficient to cure the problem at the client site. Is there somewhere else this information can be stored?
