Thanks and you're right. I already tried installing SP1a and it worked.
BTW, you should of hear our "systems" guys talk trash about my application that won't install on XP. Thanks MS for giving them something to laugh about!
>Windows 2000 and XP protect system files by making sure they don't get overwritten except by the OS itself. When you install the VB App, it overwrites the files, but when you reboot, Windows 2000/XP detects the fact that the file has been chanegd and overwrites it with it's own copy. To get around this, upgrade your OS to the latest service pack so that the VB App install does not have to voerwrite the files.
