Hi,

This explanation may not be technically exact, but in principle, I think it's correct.

The sender's email address is easy to spoof when mail is sent. Because of this, one of the methods to try to reduce spam is to do a reverse lookup.

When a recipient's email server is configured to do this, it trys to confirm that the domain in the FROM address 'joe@somewhere.com' (i.e., somewhere.com) really is the server that the message originated from. If not, it bounces the mail.

I don't think this is directly related to SEE4FP.

I think it's related your your email server and the sender address you're using.

We are using the program to send an email with an Excel file attachment to a customer. The customer's sys admin says that the reverse lookup fails on their server when the email is received.
