You have to get the quotes around the filename
run /n "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual FoxPro 8\vfp8.exe"
or
lcx = "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual FoxPro 8\vfp8.exe"
run /n "&lcx"
