Hi Leland,

The link seems to be pointing to something else. Note, also, that I'm still working with plain ASP (we didn't switch to ASP.NET yet for my regret, since it would be easier for me).

Here are the links for out of shell Shopping carts apps (free), I found so far (thanks for Alexander Golovlev):

http://www.aspemporium.com/aspEmporium/downloads/fileDependsEx.asp?eg=shoppingCart
http://www.asp101.com/samples/viewasp.asp?file=shopping%2Easp
http://www.comersus.com/freeDownloads.asp
And this one
http://metalinks.com/metacart/download.asp

Here is what Joe answered me on that:

If we were selling physical products, perhaps an off the shelf would work...however, again, I would go back to asking what is required and what/how would any of these products fit our model ? What you'll find out is very quickly is that most of these off the shelf shopping are either too generic enough or required too much customization or change of process/flow to get it to work...and really, a shopping cart is a good starting point in learning how the web programming requirements...

P.S. Do you think, it's better to be in another thread, since this one is completely different? :)

If it's not broken, fix it until it is.
