I know this topic was covered in a slightly different format here but I cannot get the solution provided to work for me.

I am converting a VFP7 app to VFP8 and some forms are now complaining (when they are opened in design mode) about "Data type is invalid for this property". This is because the captions of some objects are set to the value of variables (or table fields) which are only set and available at runtime. The forms run fine at runtime.

What is the best way to overcome this? Personally the easiest solution would be the ability to switch off that warning message :)
