I would look into HTTP file transfer - it's more secure and easier to program than FTP. From what I understand, this functionality is built into the .Net Framework whereas before .NET, you would have had to use a 3rd party tool like SA-FileUP ...

I have a form that will gather some information (this operates) including a list of files that when a user hits "submit", must do a file transfer from the client PC to the server and create a unique folder on the server to put them. Is FTP even the right thing to use and of course, any suggestions regarding this type of action is appreciated.
