Hi Tom,

Remember that Access is a file based database, unlike SQL Server. You will get much better performance with a server database, and be able to support a higher level of concurrent users, with lower impact on your webserver's performance.

As Access is file based, high concurrent user counts means high disk I/O, which can cause performance problems on your web server, especially in a shared server environment. Something to watch out for.
