>There were terrorist groups trained in Germany and Austria, which have attacked Yugoslavia in 1972, killed Yugoslav ambassador in Sweden, and planted and activated a bomb in a movie theater in Belgrade, killing a number of people. And there was ample evidence - the group was caught and tried.

>Where were you then? Or was it that they were hosted by a friendly democracy, and these Nazi-oriented guys were attacking a communist country?

We were a little busy fighting something called the Cold War, trying to tear down the Iron Curtain in front on your country.

>While fighting on your side.

A huge mistake on our part.

>And you defy UN by threatening to go to war if they don't pass a resolution you want. And by thinking some resolutions aren't applicable because they were passed by non-democratic regimes.

We are backing up the UN's own resolutions, which they (or more accurately, France), lack the will to do. Here is quote from Hans Blix:

Blix, too, expressed skepticism over Iraq's claims to have destroyed the stocks of anthrax and VX nerve agent. Blix told Time he found it "a bit odd" that Baghdad, with "one of the best-organized regimes in the Arab world," had no records of the substances' destruction.

"I don't see that they have acquired any credibility," he said. "There has to be solid evidence of everything, and if there is not evidence, or you can't find it, I simply say, 'Sorry, I don't find any evidence,' and I cannot guarantee or recommend any confidence."

A "bit odd" is quite an understatement. Do you really believe they destroyed these weapons, but have no record of it? Yeah, right. Your ability to trust Saddam is apparently a lot greater than your ability to trust this country.

>Oh, they know they would not be attacked. They would only have their business with US (see latest rumors about Rammstein, not the rock band, but the base) moved to some other country.

Where are these rumors you are referring to?

>So you will do. Can you give any guarantee that the Iraqi oil profits will not be coming here, not a cent?

Yes, I can guarantee that.
