I guess I'll try the menu a while longer, at least until I can determine whether the behavior I'm encountering is widespread, or rathier something particular to my environment. I really like the menus when they load and execute properly. I purchase the java applet menu from NavSurf at:

It cost $30.00. Since an applet is downloaded to the user browser and executes locally within the user's computer environment, there is probably a greater exposure to possible problems and inconsistent behavior. If the code ran on the web server that dished out the resulting HTML to a visitor's browser, it would probably be more stable.
