But...I'm just a single developer. If I was buying for a shop of two or five or 10 seats....the cost is less easy to ignore and the idea of the restriction is more signficant.


While this is true, what I would recommend to a client is to consider upgrading only a few of the licenses at first (or upgrade them all and only install a few of the VFP 8 licenses) until you can do all of your testing/conversion...
