Hi Douglas
We are in the middle of converting a large accounting program from FPW26 to Vfp6.
In our experience anything to do with conversion is a complete waste of time. The Vfp conversion program was extremely badly written and only uses a Vfp form as a front end (the pageframe thingy drives you mad) with the old spr file still in use.
We develop each form in Vfp, then cut and paste the procedural code into new methods and convert the regional variables to properties. With practice this can be quite quickly done. In some cases we even change the extension of the original spr file to prg and run under Vfp - works fine.
Cheers
John
