I'm sorry? This is about the oddest incentive to buy an upgrade that I can imagine. Since I cannot upgrade all of our various pieces of software instantaniously from one version to another, I don't honestly see how I can buy an upgrade to version 8.

I can understand that for end user products, but for developers? I know you don't make policy, Ken, but this simply doens't make sense to me. I also know that others here have expressed the belief that this paragraph absolutely had to be a mistake and could not possibly be conveying Microsoft's tru intention. I have a horrible feeling that you are going to have a fair number of developers using version 7 illegally without really realizing that they are doing so.

From the wording, do I assume that if I upgrade from version 7 to version 8, I can still use version 6 even while I am prohibited from using version 7? After all, the wording of version 7 did not prohibit the continued use of version 6.
