It good your setup provides error handling. I've read many post about the difficulties of debugging a VFP com server. I suppose the same would be true of any com server acting as a middle tier web program, whether its VB, C++, etc. Evidentailly, debugging a com server is a bear with little or no error message help. It appear your doing fine and making good progress.

I use an old version of Homesite, version 4.5, for my editor. It get the job done and I really apprecidate its many feature. Homesite was acquired by Macromedia, so if you choose it your making a good decision. The more proficient you become with web development, the more you will come to appreciate this editor.

I finally have my menu program working correctly. I had to reinstall java 1.4, but now it load almost instantaneously with the menu buttons having the correct behavior and color.
