Hi Evan !
1.I think that we are talking about different things and that is the source of the missunderstaning. When I say demo I think about a fully functional version limited in a simple way - as simple as only it can be (read: very easy to make and very easy to test ex difinitione). I think that it would be better for VFP future to have such (I know, I know - probably very easy to hack) version than have no such version. It is not true that it is hard to do because it was already done (see VFP8beta case). There is a UML tool "Enterprise Architect" that has demo limited in very similar way as VFPbeta was. I am legal user of EA, though I could set my computer clock back and work with EA without paying.
2.End of dead horse story.
