Real results in a nutshell:
Did a clean install of VFP8 RTM on a Win2k Server SP2 on the same PIII 500 where I installed it yesterday, but yesterday I used a different swappable HD with Win Server 2003 B1, which is a US En version, but with German settings.

On Win Server 2003 B1 (and on the other Win XP ***US En*** PIII 350) there was NO error, not even with national and other customisation.

On the PIII 500 Win2k SP2 the error cropped up with a virgin VFP8 RTM!!!

The other two systems I´m seeing the error is my PIII 650 with German Win2k SP3 build 2195 and my P4 1,9 German Win XP Home SP1. Both with every conceivable patch.

Question is: Are both your Wins nationalized systems?
