I have a report with 1 data grouping. This grouping is on orderno.

I use two files for the data. Orderheader which has name and address, order number, order total and shipping and Orderdetail which has quantity description and price.

I relate the orderheader to orderdetail on orderno and set skip to orderdetail. I can then preview the report and the data is all there except when there is only one order in the header and detail. When there is more than one order (grouped by orderno in the report) I have all of the lineitem detail but with one order I only get the last lineitem in the detail band.
