I use

oToolbar.Show()
oToolBar.Dock(0)

I believe this is what took care of it for me. I also added a global toolbar, probably similar to the default toolbar you mention, to avoid the effect.

When a data-driven form opens (.scx), it pops up a nav toolbar. However, as it is doing so, it makes the entire _screen bounce as it is instantiating. This is very annoying. I would hope that if I already have a 'toolbar' area defined below my menu, and populated with my 'default' toolbar, any additional toolbars would just appear next to it (the default toolbar) without all of that bouncy stuff happening. Any suggestions?
