So what's written in the EULA is, by now, quite clear. What appears to be unclear is the intent.
I wonder if the intent was to prevent the purchase of
two "upgrades" when the person owned only
one licensed qualifying product. But that in all cases the
prior version purchased with the upgrade price or the full price
can still also be used by the developer... With the understanding, of course, that at some point the company (wait, does "the company" apply only to the CIA?) ;) will discontinue support for the older version of the product.
