There is nothing whatever wrong with wanting to upgrade (or not upgrade for that matter) as long as one knows the rules. Now that Ken has made it clear what MS's intentions are, we can all make whatever decisions we feel comfortable with.

At the same time, I don't think there was a single person in any of these threads that was complaining about VFP8. I think it's a great product too, and I doubt you'll get much disagreement on that issue. I, and many others feel betrayed by the way it's being marketed, not by the product itself or the work that went into producing it.

>I agree. I'm afraid I contributed a little to the other thread yesterday and now I feel bad about it. Things are not so bad. I really love the Cursor Adaptor in VFP 8. The flexibility that gives us is easily worth the cost. I respect Ken Levy alot, for where he's been and what he has done. It must be frustrating to work so hard on the product and then have to read us whine about how imperfect things are.
