Yep,
Every cheese goes with a different wine, doesn't it?
If there weren't an upgrade version, would people be happier?
Actually, I can get MSDN Universal on E-Bay for $900, get a $300 rebate by getting the DVD version. So, for $500 I get VS/VFox 6.0, VFP 7.0, VFP 8.0, VS.Net, VS.Net 2003, SQL Server (dev version), Office Premium. That is cheaper than the full version of VFP 8.0.

>Either the upgrade is too expensive, or people don't understand just what an upgrade *is*. All this hoo-haw and finger pointing is pointless. Hasn't anyone ever bought software from anyone ELSE and seen what an upgrade is like?
