I managed to find what caused the problem. my os was w2k. in VFP7 it uses the Documents and settings folder to store user specific information such as the intelli sense. What i did was closed all VFP sessions, then deleted the contents (files) against my user id from documents and settings related to VFP7 and restarted VFP7.

Believe me! the problem was solved.

When I now check documents and settings VFP has created a fresh copy of the contents i deleted.
