Reports & Report designer
Harry,
My guess is that Garrett is OK when he says that Windows is printing bitmaps and that is the reason why it prints so slow. The advantage of printing bitmaps is that you can use whatever font-face and font-size you want to, so you can adjust better to any printed format; the disadvantage is that is slow.
But you can still print at full speed if you need. One way to do this is to design a new "report" with "?" commands and sending the ouput to a printer. You can't do this with the report tool, but instead you have to write a .PRG to handle this. It's not difficult and you will get the speed again.
Javier.
