Ok, thats a clever trick, it let me get my program working in 10 minutes. However, as a long term solution, it may have a problem, if the 'user' field was used for something else. I used it for another purpose in a system I wrote a couple of years ago. For the moment I'm only using the util for myself, but am planning on making it generally available for other users.

Also, it still makes me wonder what the point of the uniqueID field is - if it is not unique.
