I started out with the free version of
http://www.blogger.com/, but after becoming frustrated with some of its problems (archives, namely), I upgraded to Blogger Pro. Costs $35/year, if I remember correctly.
Now, if only it hadn't broken some of the things that worked before the upgrade.... :-)
