Hi All ,

I need some help from all Gurus out there to figure out how to do this.

Our company does contract manufacturing and I’m writing a routing to create quotes for various parts. This is what I’m trying to achieve..

1. CreateQuote.Prg creates an excel sheet for each quote (part) and store in a specific folder on network.
2. EditQuote.scx Pick List will display all available quotes (excel sheets) for user to edit

Up to this point everything works fine. Now comes the fun part. I would like to do the following.

3. When user selects excel sheet(quote) via my pick list to edit , I would like that quote excel sheet to be formatted (Column headings, With, Font, Summing some columns etc )

4. When user done editing, focus comes back to the pick list. ( This works OK)

Questions

Each excel sheet (Quote) has a different file name .

* When I write macro how do I figure out the file name. ?
* Can I pass the file name from my form to selected excel sheet?
* What is the best place to store the macro/VBA codes ??
* Even if I do the macro, how do I call it to run on selected , unformatted excel sheet ?

Please Help.
