Dreams are important and so is setting goals. That is terrific if it gives anyone something to strive for. We should all do that. I don't believe it is very common for someone to 'choose' a field to work in though if it does not pay the bills unless that person really 'loves' the work. That was the first impression I got, but I see now that there is a longterm goal involved that makes sense. Good luck to you Sergey!
