So to get information from Bloomberg, are you just making method calls passing the ticker symbol? I remember hearing of a Bloomberg API where you're using FTP to make rate requests and then retrieving a text file from their FTP site when they process the request. I'm hoping this control acts a little differently?

The control gives real time updates -- just like the Excel DDE solution that they promote.
