I have to add my two cents worth as well.
I have clients who invest many more times what we do in tools of their trade some of them hundreds of thousands of dollars (just look at the price of a Mack truck) and they earn a lot less and work a lot harder than us.
All we have to buy is a new computer every couple of years and maybe a new VFP every two or three years. I also have cheapskate clients who want me to supply support and programs for peanuts. I don't like them, I don't need them and when they go somewhere else I applaud.
Microsoft probably doesn't need us either and they probably make a loss on their Foxpro investment, so why do they bother anyway. Well let's hope they carry on bothering in spite of the wingers out there who want something for nothing (or next to nothing). We have a great saying in our office "Those who buy the cheapest seats in the house scream the loudest"
Come on guys and gals, for Gods sake wake up and accept we live in the real world where Ken and his team produce really cool Vfp programs and we pay a relatively small amount to use them.
(Well maybe that was a little more than two cents worth)
