IIS applications are not upgradable to .Net. The way you build WebForms in .Net is completly different from IIS applicaitons. In fact, WebForms are more like the Windwos forms you build today in VB6.

>it seems that VB .NET is totally internet related

It's true that we see a lot of WebServices and ASP.Net around but beleive that you can also build great Windows applications from .Net.

>Thank you Mr.Eric. I will check those links.
>Just one more question. Can I use IIS application in VB 6.0 as a basis for VB .NET? Because it seems that VB .NET is totally internet related. I have done many project using VB but never did any webbased project.I have VB 6.0 on my pc. I have loaded .NET Framework. I think 3 hours trial will be too short for learning VB .NET especially when I never did any web related project. So, should I first learn IIS application in VB 6.0 before I go to VB .NET?
