Memories of S-100, dBase II, Ashton Tate and 8" floppies come to mind. :)
Regarding my S-100 IMSAI machine, at $795 for 64K of memory and $6000 for a 10 Meg hard disk, times have changed!

P.S. Somehow I do not miss writing drivers but at least they worked unlike some of the offerings of today.
