Jim - nope - none that I can think of - the concept I read was 'Universal' and Current' in the same auction wording.

>Also, can you give me any guidance on buying through e-Bay and paying through "PAYPAL"? I have used neither.

PayPal is an online payment source - see www.paypal.com to set up an account and see how it goes. Basically you pay from paypal - its automagically deducted from your bank account and sent out to the payee.
I've been buying from ebay auctioneers since 1996 - with only one semi-bad experience - basically the seller forgot about my winning bid, didn't check his email that often, and I finally sent him a letter with a mailing label and a copy of the winning bid notice - product showed up in 4 days after that. However - no one is really protected on ebay. All ya got as either a buyer or seller is your reputation - and you earn a reputation from OTHER buyers or sellers making comments on YOU and each TRANSACTION YOU do there.

>Given that I HAVE TO buy a FULL VERSION VFP8 to satisfy my desire to continue using VFP7, this looks to be just too good to pass up. Can you think of any gotcha's? The thing says registration will be done in the name of my specifying after payment clears. That sound legit to you?
-
Absolutely Legit - and here's the 'thingie' why its worded that way -
Jo Bob developer wants the MSDN universal set but his purchasing department has no pull anywhere and quote a price back to Joe Bob's manager of 2877.00. Joe Bob's manager blows up and says - WE CAN'T BUY THAT - its too expensive. Joe Bob then counters and says - Heya Mon - if I can get it for less than 1000.00 out of my own pocket, and expense it, then can I get it?
Joe Bob's boss says 'YES OF COURSE'. Joe Bob pays for it via paypal, the paypal invoice is generated with Joe Bob's contact information on it, and Joe Bob puts his Company Name on the MSDN Registration Information.
Joe Bob puts his invoice in to his company for reimbursement, gets paid back, and his company now owns, on behalf of Joe Bob and FOR Joe Bob's use and IN THE COMPANY's NAME, a licensed, legit MSDN UNIVERSAL subscription.
