Sorry for late respond, but I'm at work...
1. In your MSDN select (Entire Collection) and from Contents tab go to the MSDN Library Visual Studio 6.0|Platform SDK|Internet/Intranet/Extranet Services/Scripting/VBScript Language Reference. This is the VBScript help.
2. About Format - seems like there's no Format function in VBScript. You can try to use Now(), Year(), Month(), Day(), Hour(), Minute(), Second() and FormatNumber() functions...
