I have an application which uses both Stonefield Query and Reports. If the application is installed on a server, I can set up the clients to store filters in a filters.dbf either on the server or to their local drive. The cSavedFilterTable property also allows for an alternate location.
The problem is that now we have several installations that are employing Citrix with our SQL Server version of the product. Since all of the application data is stored in a SQL database, the clients are questioning why the users need write access to the application server or citrix server. Has anyone else had to deal with this issue? If the system admin takes away write access, then attempting to save a filter generates an error. Any thoughts are appreciated.
Kind Regards,
Mat
