Some complex views get twisted when opened in the View Designer.
Best advice is to use genview.prg (? available in UT downloads) to create a program that creates your complex view correctly, then edit the program rather than using the VD to make changes you need. If you alter the underlying tables you can also simply run the program to recreate the view properly.
Alternatively invest in xcase (
www.xcase.com) which will allow you to define views visually and have them created properly for local tables or for most other C/S databases.
