We have tons of VFP7 COM objects, compiled with VFP7SP1 and executed with VFP7SP1 MTDLL runtime. The conversion from VFP7->VFP8 will take some time.

Was VFP8 designed to allow seamless side-by-side deployment and execution of server side MT COM objects. What I mean is:

1. can I install both VFP7 and VFP8 runtimes onthe same server (W2000 Server SP3)?

2. when registering with COM+ package, would system automatically mark VFP7 object to be runnable by VFP7 and VFP8 object runnable by VFP8?
